Syntax: GRABTSR
A TSR program.
The program GRABTSR is useful for grabbing just the text you want from any ASCII
Screen. I find it most useful picking out the files I want from BBS lists,
in fact that's why I wrote it. I got sick of reading through thousands of
lines of file names and descriptions from BBS lists every time I wanted a
certain file, or have some text printed to the screen by another program that I
wanted to save to a file for future reference. Now I can just go into the file,
press ALT A, tag the file names and descriptions I want, press E to save them to
a file and return to the original application. After tagging the lines you want
you also have the option of printing them to a EPSON or LASER JET printer by
pressing P.
The program is pretty self explanatory but I will explain it anyhow. It will
only capture 80 characters per line. Once loaded use the UP, Down arrow keys to
scroll the screen. When you find a line you want to save, press T to tag it.
Those lines will be highlighted (tagged). I you decide to untag some lines, just
go to those lines and press U. When you've tagged all the lines you want on
that screen, press E, it will release the TSR and go back to the program you
are in and save the tagged text to a file called SAVED.TXT in the root
directory of C:.
The F1 key is used to popup a help screen, press any key to make it disappear.
If you continue to use GRABTSR, please send $10 to:
